Hoffman Media has provided me with a copy of Jane Pettigrew's World of Tea: Discovering Producing Regions and Their Teas to giveaway to one of my subscribers. The 434-page hardcover tea book was published on June 15, 2018, with a list price of $59.95.

Finishing up summer and getting ready for the fall season leaves me feeling a bit ambivalent. While I mourn the end of long hot summer days I do look forward to a bit of the cool crisp weather that is ideal for tea drinking. Add this book into the mix with a pot of tea and you have a perfect fall afternoon.

Whatever you’re up to today, it's time to enter my tea book giveaway. Autumn is the perfect season for tea drinking and reading.

I had the opportunity to interview Jane Pettigrew about her new book and her life’s work dedicated to educating others about tea. Last week I posted my interview with Jane Pettigrew. If you haven't read it yet, you may want to take a look, it was a great interview.

Included in Jane Pettigrew's World of Tea are over 60 tea producing countries and their teas. You'd be amazed at some of the most unexpected places in the world that are growing and producing fine teas. Chapter 2 features North America with 38 tea estates. Who knew?

I challenge any devotee, be they hobbyist or professional, not to spend many happy hours poring in delight over the scores of enticing country maps with their iconic green tea-tips location markers and not be amazed by some of the new tea origins." --from the Forward of World of Tea by Nigel Melican, Teacraft Ltd

A coffee table size book  (10" x 12"), with 434 pages of text and full-color photographs by professional photographers, this is one of the most beautiful books about tea that I've seen.

The book is divided into seven chapters, beginning with The Origins of Tea, followed by six more chapters covering North America, Central, and South America, Africa, Europe, Asia, and Oceania, complete with Places of Interest and a full Index.

Inside are stunning, full-color photographs of some of the most beautiful tea estates and gardens from around the world. I think Jane Pettigrew's  World of Tea will bring you closer to the tea you love. Any tea enthusiast will treasure this book for years to come.

I love oolong teas! I've tried so many and I've never been disappointed. I enjoy their floral taste. Some are sweeter than others. I enjoy the roasted oolongs as well. I can drink then at anytime of day.

Currently my favourite tea is deep steamed sencha. It is great to help me wake up, keeps me energized through the day, can be brewed quickly, even cold brew takes only seconds to be ready:D. But the autumn is in the air so black teas are finding the way towards by tea pot now;). Me new found crush is Sweet Potato Tea from Yunnan Sourcing:D

My favorite caffeine tea is Queen Elizabeth. I tried a lot of different black teas and this blend is perfect for me. I don't have one favorite herbal, depends on mood, love Lemon Balm or Chamomile with Roses!

I mostly enjoy black (red) or white tea. My two favorite teas are keemun and silver needle - but lapsang souchong holds a special place in my heart because it was my grandparents favorite and I have so many fond memories related to drinking that smokey goodness.

My favorite tea is a blend called Pomegranate Mojito made by a company called ZestTea. It is a very singular taste - and it is designed to have more caffeine than coffee. Natural blends of most teas are better in there way, but I can’t really think of a brand name that I like like this one. It is pretty distinct.
